Mission of the Role

 

We are looking for a proactive Electronics Testing & Product Certification Specialist who will be part of the Team in charge of qualifying functional/reliability requirements, verifying and addressing the product regulatory compliance to applicable standards and achieving related Marks/Certificates needed to grant the brand’s Quality and Safety statements on the International market.

 

He/She will join our R&D Team at Technogym Village in Cesena (Italy) and will cooperate closely with Product Development Project Leaders, Electronics subsystem supplier, major Marks and Certification notified bodies.

He/She will manage activities related to prototyping, electronic testing and pre-compliance testing since early development stages and cabling design, as well as the definition/collection of documents and Technical Files for the Certification/Marking processes

Responsibilities

 

With reference to product compliance to applicable Laws, Directives and Regulations – according to their destination of use and along their lifecycle – the Specialist will be involved in:

 

  • Supporting the Team in the definition of mission profiles, test methods and Testing Plans with reference to the applicable Laws, Directives and Regulations, functional/performance and electric/electronic/electromechanical component’s requirements
  • Supporting the planning, execution and related test report release of required test activities
  • Supporting the Team in defining technical, functional and performance requirements with reference to applicable standards (residential/medical)
  • Contributing to the editing of Technical File through the execution of verification/testing activities, related Test Report and coordinating the required contribution collection to their setting up, aimed at product Marking/Certification achievement
  • Collaborating with Team during all phases of internal and external compliance tests and supporting the company areas involved during third part Audits on both products and processes
  • Supporting the updates regarding Technogym Product’s applicable Laws, Directives and Regulations in different sales countries and related effective information to development Product Developers, Project Leaders (PD, PL) and all involved company’s entity and suppliers

Requirements

 

  • Master Degree in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years is considered a plus
  • English fluency
  • Knowledge of digital and power electronics design, software design and radio/cabled connectivity
  • Knowledge of measurement tools and test method aimed to functional/performance verification and regulation conformity and to product debugging
  • Ability to build relationship with certification notified body, all company areas, suppliers and organizations involved in the product development process
  • Knowledge of electric/electronics cables design rules for reliability, cost, assembly and maintainability
  • Knowledge of electronics component manufacturing technologies
  • Knowledge of applicable Laws, Directives, technical electric/electronics Regulations and their application to products is considered a plus
  • Knowledge of needed CAD/PLM/ERP systems/tools is an advantage
  • Attitude to team-working and a sense of initiative and proactivity Transparency, intellectual openness and team work
