Job Profile:

ADVANCED MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Main Responsibilities:

  • New programs launch: Designing and implementing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with quality standards. Evaluating and selecting equipment, tools, and technologies suitable for electric motor manufacturing.
  • Processes for new products: Screen, evaluate and identify adequate processes to produce new products;
  • Process Improvement (incl. Tooling): Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing advanced manufacturing techniques to enhance product quality, efficiency, and profitability, starting by actual production data analysis;
  • Research and Analysis: Conducting research and analysis to identify areas for process optimization, including studying current processes, analyzing data, and benchmarking against industry standards;
  • Advanced Process Design and Implementation: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new manufacturing processes and equipments, ensuring they meet profitability, quality, productivity and safety standards;
  • Documentation: Creating process documentation for advanced processes, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flowcharts, to ensure consistency and compliance;
  • Project Management: Leading process improvement projects, including defining project scope, setting objectives, managing timelines and resources, and coordinating with local and global stakeholders (e.g. Building blocks);
  • Feasibility Studies and Cost Analysis: Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses for new process technologies and equipment, evaluating their potential benefits and return on investment;
  • Supplier Collaboration: Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and select equipment and materials for process improvement initiatives, ensuring they meet profitability, quality, productivity and safety performance requirements;
  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in process engineering, attending conferences, and participating in professional development activities to drive continuous improvement.

 

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Bachelor or higher level degree in Engineering;
  • Good knowledge of product, process and specific technologies;
  • Good knowledge of problem solving techniques;
  • Good knowledge of numeric and statistic analysis;
  • Good IT knowledge (MS Office, in particular Excel, SAP, CAD);
  • Advanced knowledge of English language (Minimum level B2 – CEFR classification);
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities;
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
