Job Summary

Within Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions we are looking for a Maintenance Test Engineer who will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on the equipment in the test hall. In this role you will be an individual contributor who will take responsibility in providing a high quality and high performance equipment for executing verification & validation physical tests. This is a permanent position based in Modena (Italy).

What you will do

As a Maintenance Test Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Leading the execution of Maintenance activities, both corrective and predictive
• You will work to improve reliability & efficiency of test hall equipment, improving the diagnostic capabilities, developing improvement and participating in troubleshooting of complex faults
• Document the performed activities in our reporting system to trace history of changes occurred on our equipment

We believe you have

• You have a technical education in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Automation Degree or similar
• We are looking for both young and experienced candidates up to 3/4 years of testing experience in Automatic Machine with mechatronic content (Liquid Food Packaging Machine), or similar position in testing environment and field experienced, preferably in the area of food packaging
• You have mechanical skills; assembling and disassembling of component and sub-system
• You have electrical competence in reading electrical schema and cabling
• You have pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge in reading pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and cabling
• You have automation skills and knowledge on different platform (eg: Rockwell, Beckhoff)
• You have technical writing competence in order to create technical project documentation conveying information clearly and accurately
• Knowledge of World Class Engineering (robust Design, DOE, P Diagram and GreenBlack belt Six Sigma) is a plus
• Knowledge of 3D drawing tool (like Creo or similar) is a plus
• You are fluent in Italian and you have a good understanding in written English
• You have a combination of an analytical and practical mind
• You have good communication skill and you are able to build strong relationships
• You are able to work in a team as well as an individual in a complex environment
• You have a proactive and result oriented approach and good problem solving ability to overcome daily challenges
• You are willing to strengthen technical competence, learn on the fly, take initiatives and support project activities
