Internship R&D Buyer

The candidate will be part of the Purchasing team based in our Headquarter in Milan, and will support in carrying out, according to internal procedures, the purchasing activity with particular focus on R&D / Cyber and Off-Take material and services. He/she will ensure that Total Cost of Ownership is minimized with the best commercial conditions for the Company.

The resource will also be involved in the following activities:
–    managing Suppliers Portfolio, including the platform Synertrade and update of a “Albo Fornitori”;
–    defining internal customers’ needs and ensuring Supply continuity;
–    preparing Tender documentation (technical attachments with specifications and reference data);
–    issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), including collection and tabulation of tenders;
–    participating in negotiations;
–    managing catalogues and price lists;
–    issuing Purchase Orders and Call-Offs;
–    supporting the finalization of supply contracts.

Furthermore, the candidate will provide reporting and evaluations of Suppliers by monitoring:
–    state of progress of the main projects;
–    state of progress of Cost Reduction initiatives;
–    purchasing dashboard.

REQUIREMENTS:
–    Degree in Engineering;
–    Basic knowledge of International Trading;
–    Good knowledge of English (B2/C1, written and oral);
–    Good knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
–    Analytical skills;
–    Problem solving skills.
