We are currently seeking a Construction Engineer Junior, reporting to a Project Construction Coordinator and/or the Construction Section Head, within Construction, Start-up & Subcontracting Department in our Rome Operating Center, in Italy.

About the Job

It will be a work to be done in team, coordinated by senior resources and interfacing mates from many other Departments and, often, from other Operating Centers.

Initially, during the training phase, the candidate will be based in Rome Home Office – possible short missions for meeting with Project stakeholders (client, construction companies, partners, local authorities) – may be necessary.

Early training sessions on site may be opted to boost resource potential and growth.

Candidate professional development shall be focused in progressive self-sufficiency, familiarization with Company tools / standards and readiness to site mobilization within construction management.

We are based in Italy but in the vast majority our challenging projects are located abroad.

Our aim is to form and upskill the resource towards key roles within Construction management and finally have a future Construction / Site Manager.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

• Graduated in Engineering (preferably: mechanical, chemical)
• Full availability to move abroad even for long term assignment at any job-site
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office main applications (at least Word and Excel, preferably also Access, Project and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity in use of Autocad and 3D-viewers shall be considered a plus.
• Experience in Oil & Gas construction industry.
• From 0 to 2 years of seniority in similar positions; previous experiences on site is considered nice to have.

The candidate shall be involved in the Construction Home Office activities, during a project execution and/or proposals preparation.  Typically said activities consist in issuing technical documents (studies, plans, layouts, specifications, method statements, presentations etc.) relevant to the construction execution phase and to site activities aspects (strategies, constructability, task sequencing / planning, staff organization, Quality Control, material management, subcontractors pre-qualification / interfaces, etc.).
