Job Description

The Salesforce Senior Developer’s primary responsibilities are to analyze, design, implement and test Salesforce software applications.

The Salesforce Senior Developer should have essential knowledge of software development and design, be a quick learner and should have passion to refine him/herself by adopting new development skills. He/she has a minimum 2 years of experience with Salesforce Core Platform hands-on development.

The Salesforce Senior Developer should also be capable of leading other members of the team on best practices around application development. They should be flexible and willing to learn new programming skills and should be able to migrate existing solutions from one development stack to another based on organization roadmap.

Key responsibilities:

  • Experienced hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer with a focus on delivering technical and functional solutions on the platform.
  • Provide technical expertise on Salesforce projects and participates in solution discussions, estimates, release planning and code reviews
  • Plan, design, develop, test and deploy solutions within an Agile SDLC framework that delivers high-quality code on a frequent basis
  • Engage in code and technical design reviews of solution implementations to ensure code quality and best practices are maintained
  • Provide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated to implement capabilities based on business requirements and solution design


  • Master degree or above in IT, Engineering, or others
  • 5+ years IT experience
  • Experience with product positioning, leveraging feature to benefit analysis
  • Strategic & technical thinking
  • Familiarity with multi-tier, high availability application server environments & cloud software solutions experience
  • Ability to interact with customers (from all spectrum) so as to ensure that the service is polite, efficient and responsive
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Must be detail oriented and self-motivating
  • Fluent English, written and spoken;
  • Open for travelling- up to 25%;

Core competencies:

  • 2+ years of hands-on development experience with Salesforce Core Platform (Sales, Service or Community Cloud)
  • Minimum 4 Salesforce certifications, including Administrator and Platform Dev I
  • Supply expertise in advanced Apex and Lightning Web Components programming concepts including common design patterns, governor limit management techniques, bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, and asynchronous operations
  • Knowledge of code versioning, packaging and deployment procedures
  • Understanding of Network Protocols and Services (DNS, HTTP, HTTPS)
  • Able to document technical solutions, complying with IT best practices
  • Strong knowledge with data architecture/schema and data migration tools
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce coding best practices, development patterns
  • Understanding of IT security and data confidentiality principles
