About the role

The Intern will be based in Bologna. We are currently looking for a Market Analysis Intern to join our Consumer Markets Solutions and Industrial Market Solutions departments supporting the Products Portfolio Manager and be part of the Market Development Team.

The candidate we are seeking is:

As a Market Analysis Intern your main focus will be supporting the Coordinator in understanding customers needs. You aim to understand what they need in order to develop business strategies;
A technology enthusiast. Coesia is an engineering-based company and you as part of the Market Development team will daily interact with Technical Departments and colleagues to understand the product portfolio;
As a Market Analysis Intern, you will be involved in meetings together with the Coordinator and internal as well as external stakeholders;
Brave and Passionate. You are not afraid to speak up your ideas and intuitions.

Major projects you will be involved in include:

Use and improve existing data sources, supporting the creation of category/market/business plans through structured data analysis;
Cooperate with managers and third parties (e.g. suppliers) to gather, structure and share data, identifying business opportunities and/or threats, and provide necessary evidence to pursue or overcome those;
Support in identify strategic business opportunities;
Support in analyzing market data, trends and client performance through ad-hoc reports;
Support in New Products Development activities (NPD).

What you need to be successful

We would like to meet candidates with:

Master degree in Management Engineering, Mathematical Engineering; Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering or similar;
Business Fluency in English. You feel at ease talking, writing and reading in English;
A problem-solving attitude and a sheer passion for data and numbers;
Eagerness to learn and to discover how a leading manufacturing company works from a strategic perspective.
